Fall 2007 Courses Offered for Faculty and Staff

The following is a list of classes that will be offered for CSI faculty and staff during the Fall of 2007. Please mark your calendars! You will need to register for these classes through the Records Office. All of these classes are offered for 1 credit (except the Information Literacy and the Online Learning Environments courses which are offered for 3 credits). Several classes are offered online. We do not meet face to face in any of the online courses. Furthermore, you will NOT be required to log in during pre-determined times - i.e. participants can do their work whenever it is most convenient for them, whether that is 9:00 p.m. or 7:00 a.m. Those who would like to take an online course should e-mail the instructor (eszanto@csi.edu) the week before the course starts so she can send out instructions on how to access the course online. Online courses will utilize Blackboard, CSI's online course management system. Participants do NOT have to be familiar with Blackboard, nor have to have prior experience with online learning.

These are all short, intensive courses where you can learn a lot in a very short time frame. Please remember that full time faculty and staff are eligible for tuition waivers, so stop by the Business Office to fill out the form.

Hope to see many of you in class!
